JellyCam is a very simple to use and intuitive computer program for making stop motion movies. It is a downloadable program, so you will have to ask to have it installed in the advisory if you want, but kids can throw it on their laptops very easily. You’ll need a webcam of some sort.
Project-Based Learning: This can be a wonderful way to demonstrate all sorts of learning.
Just a few ideas for JellyCam as a deliverable: students could demonstrate tectonic plate movement; bird, animal or human migration; war and battle developments; weather and other earth and space standards; evolution over time of a fake or real animal; physics concepts; difference between kinetic and potential energy; or anything else!
